"Do you remember Shane?" Kevin asked, smiling at the feeling of her lips on his cheek. He really liked Su, and hoped that this didn't make anything complicated with her. "Shane Fawcett? I ran into her years ago, while I was in disguise -- and we, well --" He paused, and decided to just spit it out. "Apparently I have a kid? A son. And Edgar's frilly underpants, it's weird to say that out loud."
He watched her in the dim light for a reaction. "It's not -- I don't know what to-- I still haven't wrapped my head around it. But I'm not marrying her or anything, that's really the only thing I know."
