Zach used the little spoon to stir his drink, just for something to do with his hands. He didn't...know what there was about his life that was as important as that had been in hers. Cedric mattered. His thoughts kept going back there, but he didn't like remembering that day. The rest of it, beforehand, that had been the happiest times of his life, and that...nothing was going to become that happy again, not because Zach couldn't be happy, he was happy. And he had a lot of reasons to be happy. But just, there was always going to be that, and Zach felt like he had moved on enough to live, but it was still there, still unforgettable.
"Well, my friends are the most important part of my life," Zach replied, "And my job is probably my highest achievement." He glanced down at the coffee.
