Trust, that made sense. It was how Zach felt about a great number of dances. When it got very complex in swing or salsa, it was all about trusting the lead to lead correctly and the follow to take cues and go with it. Either one not trusting led to awkward if not painful times. Zach followed Tracey's lead this time, trusting her. It was a little thing, going to coffee, but after the explosion, he felt more wary than before, being a Ministry employee and all.
"It's been a while since I've had a steady dance partner," Zach mentioned, "So I haven't done some of the most exhilarating moves for a similar reason. But I don't dance professionally or anything, just for fun." There was trust, and there was trust. And Zach wasn't a risk taker with strangers.
He sensed that something had happened, something bad. Zach wasn't a fool, but he didn't see a reason to bring it up. Theo was probably helping her, definitely helping her, so that was good. And Tracey wasn't someone to be nosy with. "He's great," Zach agreed, as if she hadn't taken a pause at all.
