"Sneaky," he teased her. That was definitely the best spot to get wizards and witches of all kinds and it was perfect, really. Brilliant. "And very smart," Duke added, envying that in her.
"Oh of course." With a roll of his eyes he showed that he was playing along and he took another big bite of the scone, wondering if it would actually happen with her job. But he wouldn't mind air guitaring with her late into the night or even giving a private concert that involved a small party with just the two of them. It sounded amazing, actually, and he was already planning it in his head.
In no time at all the second half of his scone was gone and he said playfully, "Eating," before gulping some coffee. It was true, he loved to eat and loved good food, but he knew that didn't count. After a moment of thinking, he started. "Well, I've been teaching myself to play piano - sort of - and I write really bad poetry," he grinned at that, glad that he could admit it was actually bad. "There's...something else, too, but I can show you that later." Duke waved his hand, dismissing it. He wouldn't mind if she kept pushing but if she wanted to let it drop, that would be fine as well.
