When he finished with the blueberry half, having always been a fast eater, Duke started in on the chocolate, listening with more than a mere interest. Maybe it was because her life was so different, or perhaps he had an unknown liking for potions (doubtful), but her day sounded...fun. Not the getting up before six part, he was generally in bed only hours before that at the earliest. But the rest of it sounded interesting.
"Where is your shop?" He asked, looking over at her. Whether he told her or not, he wanted to come see her working. She'd seen him doing his job already and he wanted to see her in action, even if he just sat around in the back, handing her things she needed. Duke had always been curious, especially when it came to people, but it was usually overshadowed by his laziness.
"You can always sleep in with me," he told her, smiling. "After playing your air guitar on stage, of course."
