Yes, the other night had been amazing. It was better than just a one night shag because so far he truly liked her. True, they didn't really know each other, but he thought she was beautiful and fun, surprising and adventurous as well as intelligent. And she seemed to enjoy his own lifestyle, too.
Duke was lounging on the couch, Jager chewing on some toy he'd bought (he was spoiling the dog like mad) on the floor. He knew Pansy was coming over and was dressed just as casual in jeans and a shirt, though he was just wearing socks on his feet. If she showed up in something nice, he wouldn't mind at all, but expected her to actually be dressed in something this time.
When the knock sounded, Jager jumped and gave a few, empty puppy barks that made Duke grin. He really was adorable. Bounding over to the door, he opened it to find Pansy with a couple of coffees and smiled. He liked it when a girl could dress down and seem just as comfortable in anything else. Leaning over, he gave her a small kiss on the mouth, even though he wanted to give something a little better and he took the coffees from her hand, just a nice gesture.
"Come on in, miss Parkinson," he said, shoving the door back with his foot. Jager wasn't far behind him, curious over the new person; his little tail was wagging happily and he gave another yip before running over to greet her, too.
