Zach smiled as another hand wrapped around his. Colin wanted to hold his hand, liked it, as it was now. Yes, Zach's thumb had slowed down a little in the gentle way it rubbed Colin's skin. But it still continued to do so, very slowly. And, if anything, Zach was leaning slightly over the table, looking at Colin. The smile was brilliant, and Zach was glad to see running hadn't taken that from him.
"You've grown up nicely," Zach complimented Colin, taken in by all the energy. The words about danger didn't make the most sense, in that Zach just didn't entirely see why Colin and Justin had to run. They were good people. "Maybe you're right and it is dangerous," Zach leaned forward a little, "but I don't want to go four years again without seeing you." Zach meant it. He had never liked being separated so completely from people. Justin wrote, and Zach loved it each time, but it wasn't the same.
