It wasn't so hard to see the similarities between his memory and Colin standing before him. There was nothing wrong with skinny, but really, Zach had an urge to stuff him full of food. Did they get food pretty easily? Justin had mentioned making his star shaped sandwiches with Colin. Zach didn't know, but they definitely had less food than at Hogwarts. Everywhere was less well fed than Hogwarts.
Zach laughed, happy to see Colin, and hugged him tight. Without thinking about it, he picked Colin up just off the ground to spin in a circle twice before letting down again. Zach didn't back off - didn't feel the need. And really, he hadn't seen Colin in years. It wasn't the time to be stand offish. "I've been great," Zach began to answer when Colin brought up Justin and...people knowing about this.
They liked to know about most everything at his Ministry check in each week, but Zach didn't mention every detail, mostly the shagging boys. He wondered if they knew about that now, considering Fletcher...not the point. Colin didn't want Zach telling anyone else abut seeing each other. Hey, they were friends, and Zach was able to respect a secret for a friend, had done so much much more interesting information before this. So yea, sure, it was done. "I won't tell anyone," Zach promised, and he meant it - not even Romilda or Theo then.
"I was on my way to lunch. Could I interest you in joining me?" Zach asked. He was in muggle London, so it wasn't like he was implying a magical place.
