The camera came down, and the face was different - older, more mature, more to it. But Zach did recognize Colin, despite the years since they had last seen each other, and other than looking a bit on the skinny side, Colin had aged well since then. He definitely looked more like a man than in Zach's memory.
When Colin recognized him, Zach nodded with a wide grin. Really, bloody hell, what were the chances? It had been forever. He was surprised by the question, but Zach noticed the eyes, the hand. Life hadn't been as easy for him. Zach hadn't ever really felt the need to verify someone's identity.
"Well, for a grand total of about two seconds it was the Defense Association, but Dumbledore's Army had a much snazzier ring to it, and someone had to do something about that ugly toad," Zach replied, "Her taste in pink is appalling."
