Standing in silence for a moment, Katie simply watched T, not bothering to hide the number of thoughts and emotions flashing through her eyes. After a long silent pause, Katie shifted around the edge of the couch and lowered herself down, drawing her legs up to tuck them underneath her. She sat as far away from him on the sofa as she could, still... but it was a tiny start. Even if Quaffle did move to stand in front of her, eyes never moving from T's.
"You were the only person I could think of," Katie said after a moment. "The only person I know who isn't... in the fog or whatever it is. You scare me, T... I'm half terrified of you, I think, because I don't know who you are anymore, or what you're capable of, or what you've already done. But at the same time... part of me still wants to trust you. I don't even know why..."
