Luckily for Harry (and, well, for Tonks too), his Patronus caught her in the morning at her flat, before she'd left for work. Actually, it jumped through the bedroom door while she was half dressed, startling her and causing her to trip over her pants and fall to the ground awkwardly, with a muffled, 'fuck!' as her butt hit the floor. Groaning, she shot a look at the Patronus, which stood there quietly eying her, pawing at the ground as if waiting for her to be ready.
With a sigh, Tonks climbed to her feet, pulling up her jeans and buttoning them as she said, "Okay then..." From the mouth of the Patronus issued Harry's voice, and Tonks' annoyance quickly faded to replaced by a now-familiar churning sensation in her gut. Along with that came the rush of adrenaline, though, the whirl of her thoughts as she raced along, considering all her options.
She'd have to ask around at the Ministry, obviously. But discreetly, that much was certain. Her cover there was good right now, but slightly tenuous as always, if only because of her position before the takeover. They knew she'd been a member of the Order, and they'd never forget it. She needed that cover, but she needed to be able to use her position too, otherwise what was the point of her staying there.
Harry's stag Patronus had faded, and after a long moment of thought, Tonk's pulled out her wand, conjuring up the familiar shaggy dog with a faint smile. "Let me see what I can find out. Don't send me a response or contact me, I can't have your Patronus showing up at work. When and if I find something out, I'll contact you, okay?" Tonks paused for just a moment and then added, "We'll figure this out, Harry. We'll find a way to rescue him. We just have to be careful. No rushing in, right?" She sighed, and then, "I'll talk to you again soon."
As she tucked her wand back into her pocket, Tonks reached for her shirt and pulled it on, buttoning it up and getting ready to head to work for the day...
