David smiled widely as he nodded at her words. "I was born ready, Captain!" He laughed a little as he grabbed onto her forearms, feeling a little more nervous than he planned on. He was not unaccustomed to pain, but it didn't really appeal to him all the same. However, he had Romilda to keep him from falling too badly.
He moved his feet as she instructed, letting out a breath and trying to steady his ankles. That was the only advice he'd gotten when he mentioned it to a coworker. Keep your ankles straight. He'd get it down well enough. "You must do this an awful lot," he commented quietly. "Hope I'm a good student."
