The warmer weather of Italy - and the air, the scents - put Felixa in a light mood, nearly laughing as Tibby kicked off his shoes while carrying the pizza. She took a few moments longer to remove her shoes and leave them, for the moment, neatly placed against the wall. Her eyes stayed on him the entire time, so as not to miss the hilarity if he started to tilt and lose the pizzas. But he did not.
"My strong brother," Felixa declared dramatically, squeezing one of his biceps. She stepped around to grab a slice of pizza herself and bite in. "I wouldn't want to miss this adventure."
