Ella had never, ever wanted Terrence to change. If he ever had changed, he wouldn't have have been the same man she wanted to be with. And she never would have forced him into staying with her because the only reason they worked was because they both wanted to be where the other was. They didn't need one another, but they always wanted each other. That made all the difference.
And right now was absolutely no exception. Right now, Ella could feel his desire for her just as surely as she could feel the heat of the flames encircling the two of them, as surely as she could feel the weight of his body moving over her and the way his skin pressed against hers.
Ella's arms wrapped around Terrence's body as she pulled herself closer and moved with him, fingers digging into his back as she locked her eyes on his and cried out. She was surrounded by Terrence. He was outside of her, within her, part of her. There was nothing but him, the two of them and it was overwhelming and magnificent. His name swirled around her tongue and escaped loudly from between her lips. She felt as though the combination of their pulsing souls would make her burst out of her own body, and she didn't care. She'd happily break in every single way because this was worth it. Besides, she'd always maintained that it was always worth it when he was the one breaking her.
