Destruction was about right. Ella was still suffering from the majority of her injuries and injuries didn't just go away when she transformed. The effect they had on her in this form were very different and she was intent on pushing past them to push herself until all she felt was the cold wind bristling through her thick fur, her long legs stretching as she leaped over downfallen trees, the snow kicking up beneath her paws. It was refreshing and good for clearing her head, especially when her thoughts were now consumed by pushing herself faster to avoid being caught. She knew he'd catch her eventually, but she fully intended to give him a run for his money.
He'd told her once, when he'd first called her the devil, that he would gladly be dragged to hell and back with her. Of course, at the time, neither of them could have known the full scale of meaning behind those words, but she could honestly say that if things were going to be shite, she'd much rather be with him while they were. She wanted him when they were laughing, fighting, suffering...she just wanted him and it was a testament to the dynamic of their relationship that nothing ever actually threatened them being together. Anything that came between only served to strengthen their relationship. And everything they encountered only served to strengthen them as individuals.
She moved swiftly through the forest, leaving her own trail where no trail had existed previously. She cut around trees, leaped over brush and rocks, narrowly avoiding being caught several times.
It was true that Terrence could never destroy her because when he broke her, it was always in a way that she wanted to be broken. She could always count on him for that.
