Still seated, Tracey had been watching the stairs with her hands folded in her lap, nervously twisted them together as she listened quietly to the sounds of male voices down by the door. When the pair of men came into view up the stairs, though, Tracey rose gracefully to her feet, clearly her throat softly. "Hello," she murmured, her voice quiet and polite and her hands clasped demurely in front of her. Her eyes were on the floor, but she made herself look up at meet the stranger's- Zach's- eyes, holding the gaze for a brief moment before she dropped them down again and added softly, "It's nice to meet you..." It was almost stark in comparison, the way she was around Theodore now compared to how she was in the company of a stranger. But then again, just a short while ago she'd been just like this around Theodore, too... or close to it, at least. She'd known Theo is school so he had never made her so nervous, but Zach was an unknown equation, even if she was inclined to trust Theodore's judgment of people.
