Even though sitting beside Theodore was comfortable enough to have calmed her considerably, Tracey was still nervous about meeting Zach. Not necessarily a bad sort of nervous... well, a healthy bit of nervous anticipation mixed with the sort of anxiety she always got these days around new people. Especially men, if she were being honest. She'd come to be more than comfortable around Theo, but that was a comfort she rarely felt around anyone else.
She still wanted to make a good impression, that was certain. She'd even taken pains with her appearance, to a point; dressed in a long flowing pale gray skirt, a white blouse that showed just a hint of the tattoos on her shoulders, and ballet slippers, with her red hair loose around her shoulders. Nothing exceptionally special, but she still wanted to look nice.
Sitting on the couch, close enough to Theo that the side of her leg brushed against his (a contact she had recently gotten used to), Tracey had her hands cupped around her tea, drinking it to help calm her nerves. But when the knock came at the door, Tracey's head darted up just a bit too fast, eyes the slightly bit wide. Then she took a deep breathe and swallowed hard, offering Theo the faintest of smiles as she said, "I- Yes. I'll stay up here, that would be fine."
