Gilbert was wrapped up in a new task, trying to do something sensible with his time. Work! He was never more glad to be back at work. He really felt that he should like to stay late, even. He glanced up at the sound of a knock, eyebrow furrowed slightly. He did not recall inviting people to their office or people telling him they would. Perhaps it was Hestia. Oh, that would be nice. He had not seen her since their last conversation.
He stayed where he was, slowly putting his papers in order. People coming over very rarely meant much time for work. He knew he should not feel sad about the lack of mental stimulation that came from paperwork and notes, but it was a little bit saddening.
