"Touche," he commented with the lightest hint of a smile. His hand begun to run across the top of his glass, focusing in on the foam, trying to rack his thoughts forward to understand.
He then lifted his head, raising an eyebrow at the statements Hermione was making. He was silent at first but then when she went into further detail about Ron's activities, he frowned. Hermione worrying about his safety caused worry within him. He was clever enough to remember the friendship between her and his brother, always feeling like it was a step away from something more. Thus, he wasn't willing to pass Hermione's worry off as simple paranoia. His frown continued at her statement about the cards, getting the impression that there was a puzzle piece he was missing. Her words almost felt bitter and he wasn't used to that.
"I don't recall Ronald being a fan of cards. But I suppose you don't necessarily mean a round with friends?"
