She was all too happy to have Charlie help her out with all the decorating. Usually she did this sort of thing with her family, but they were all gone. She had sent them away, because she had thought it wasn't safe. There she was, all alone in her house where there wasn't a decoration in sight. A tree was on the top of her list though, and if Charlie wanted to help, she would happily let him. There was a lot to do anyway, and she really liked hanging out with Charlie. He was a very good friend, and she wanted to spend more time with him, up until he had to go back to Romania. She wasn't quite sure what she would do then, but she didn't really want to think about it.
"Yeah me too, it's really just peaceful, I guess. The feel of it in the air," she nodded her head, looking quite pleased with herself, hands stuffed into her coat pockets. "Nah, not an itty bitty one. I mean, just a normal one, not a huge one. Or something. Regular size that isn't going to hit the ceiling." He was quiet, she had noticed, but she wasn't sure that she should pry into what was up. Hestia was glad that he wasn't going to be a Grinch, but she was worried, the longer he looked like something was on his mind.
"You all right?" she ventured, nudging him gently. Might as well, to see if she could help at all. That was what friends did. Plus she just wanted him to be happy.
