Aurora melted, just a little. Barty never apologised for anything. To hear him do it assuaged a little of her anger, but only a little. She crossed the room in six precise steps, the door shutting wandlessly with the force of her emotion, and then she did something more out of character for her. She pressed herself against him firmly and stared right into his eyes. "If you ever avoid me like that again..." She let her voice trail off. "Be glad I'm still here for you to find."
And then, she kissed him, roughly, with anger and affection and frustration and desire and a million other emotions running through it. She broke the kiss only when she needed air. "You're forgiven."
