"Hey," she stated back. She was doing her best to hold back her excitement. She always felt so down and drained after a crying fit like she had earlier, but this time, she felt perfectly fine. Perhaps it was because of the encouragement from Barty but she believed it was because of her invitation to spend time with Millie. Everything was temporarily forgotten and that included her earlier gloominess.
"Alright," she said with a smile. She shifted it from her shoulder, having slung it up there like she would a parcel from the supermarket, and handed it over to Millie. It wasn't too heavy but the blanket and pillow made it bulge out at the sides.
"I bring the prospect of alternative holiday celebrations," she added, her smile growing. "As far as I'm concerned, all holidays just have to have chocolate. Otherwise, what is the point? And besides, it seems so early to be celebrating, but everyone has been putting up lights. They have holly up at the Ministry. Far too early," she commented, placing her hands awkwardly into the pockets of her sweater.
