Kevin wasn't sure if he was supposed to count, when the game of hide and seek had been proposed via journal. It was entirely possible that Dean had already had more than the time usually allotted, if he'd hidden around the time he'd come up with the idea for the game. He had proven to be quite a sneaky person. But Kevin decided to be fair anyway, and counted, covering his eyes just because that was the sort of thing you did when you were the one seeking.
"Ready or not, here I come!" he yelled to the seemingly empty house, laughing. He moved down the hallway, checking under and behind furniture and curtains as he went. This really was a great house for hide and seek. "I can smell human blood from miles away, you know!"
