Bayleigh gave her a slight look of confusion, if only for a moment, when she stated that she had brought something for her. She wasn't particularly used to being gifts anymore. Her Mother had pretty much stopped giving them to her after Barty had come back into her life and on occasion, Barty did give her one, but never from friends. The look of confusion melted away though and she smiled to the woman.
She reached forward with her palm turned upwards to receive the gift and let her eyes fall down upon it in wonder once Millie dropped it. Immediately the corners of her lips turned up into an even bigger smile and she knew what she was holding without being told by Millie. She had sadly savored all aspects of her trip to Azkaban so remembered what the metal work traditionally looked like.
Her fingers brushed over the metal in her hand and she felt a shiver run up her back. It had no real power but it gave her the feeling of being powerful. Or perhaps confident was the stronger and more important word. Regardless, she liked the feeling of it against her skin. Her eyes darted up after a moment and she considered asking Millie why it was she was receiving this gift. She did not though and just nodded her head, letting her hand wrap around it tightly.
