It was a quiet Sunday afternoon for Bayleigh. She still did not have a full purpose laid out for her in relation to employment or service to the Dark Lord, so there were days when her agenda essentially consisted of nothing. She was hoping this would change and soon. As it was, she was sitting in the front room of the Manor.
She was the only one home this afternoon and she suspected that her Father was out on business. Or at least she hoped that was the explanation for his absence. There was the possibility he was with his lover, Aurora, but she did hope that wasn't the case, though this was a secret hope of hers. She couldn't bare to tell her Father just what she thought of the woman. For now, she was trying to be pleasant, but in all truth she thought of the woman as a drama queen and a bit of a push over.
Her legs were tossed over the armrest of the chair she was reclining in and she was kicking it up and down, nestled down into the cushions, nearly laying down completely. Her brown knee length skirt was riding up from the motion and her hands were hidden in the sleeves of her over sized black sweater, though they were clutching a book of horrendous curses close to her face. She was trying to increase her knowledge base on charms, hexes and curses. If there was one thing that Bayleigh was good at, it was studying. Sadly, she couldn't get a job from that.
She peeked up over the book when she heard the sound of someone using the Floo. She closed the book and in a swift motion moved to stand, making her way towards the living room where the fire place was located, book dangling by her side. Immediately she smirked.
