Terrence undid the wards as they went; there was no need for them now, when all their targets were dead. He considered the question. "I do whatever appeals to me in the moment, really," he said. "Sometimes it involves real weapons, sometimes I just dress up in weird costumes and run around. Or play a prank on someone, even it's a mostly harmless one."
He grinned, remembering dressing up in pink to run down Diagon after pranking goblins, having a glittery pirate fight on a ship at sea with Katie.
Katie. Fuck, he should probably check up on her. He'd do that as soon as he got a chance.
"Anything new, especially if it's something I came up with - though I do take ideas from other people, obviously -" He grinned at Fletcher- "Is my idea of fun. Really, if you make your own definitions of what's fun, everything becomes fun."
Which was his basic life philosophy, honestly. Ella usually cared about chaos as well as fun, and that was fine, because Terrence's idea of fun was almost always pretty chaotic. Of course, there was nothing as fun (and chaotic) as Ella.
The mention of her, right after he'd thought that, made him laugh really hard. "Nice, I'd like to see this list," he said. "And you're right, I don't need anyone gathering information on Ella for me. Though, now you've got me curious what you would have told me about her."
It was often amusing to him to hear other people's impressions of Ella. Mostly, people regarded her with fear or caution, either thinking she was violent or crazy. Not that they were wrong - she was dangerous. The difference was that Terrence thought that was awesome.
