Fletcher looked over towards Terrence as he walked over. "They really don't seem to match his style...if he has one." He was inclined to believe the same as T. Lupin didn't have a killing style because, last he'd checked, Lupin didn't like killing people. Didn't mean he would be the one informing the masses about it. He smiled at their victims laying out in the part.
"It does seem an awful shame to go around painting rainbow targets on them and shooting arrows at them when no one knows," he said as he surveyed the remains of those people. "What is it those Muggles fear all the time? Serial killers or something? We could play into that fear, I suppose."
He twisted his mouth off to one side as he thought about it. "I don't know how much the Prophet would actually write about it. I'm fine with leaving it as is. I doubt we'll get in trouble for it one way or the other. Plus, I figure if we were going to blame it on the 'rogue werewolf,' it just seems like a lot of people for him to kill at one time."
He hadn't kept up with the "numbers dead" when it came to any one incident. "And the full moon isn't quite yet." He shrugged. "I think we can let them live in terror. Looking around corners and the like."
