"Well, he is a magnificent looking hound. I haven't had a dog of my own since I was a child and that was only briefly," he said with a sense of nostalgia. His eyes fell on the basket and he remembered why she had asked to see him. With a grateful smile, he stepped forward and took hold of the basket from her.
He held it for a moment, nodding his head as he listened to her speak, trying to absorb every word. He didn't want to begin opening the basket and give the impression that he wasn't listening to what she was saying. He gave a small laugh, nodding his head now in agreement. "Fall is a lovely season, certainly one of my favorites. It's the best time of the year to indulge in pumpkin pasties, which I adore." He smiled still, glancing now down into the basket. His eyes seemed to light up as he reached down, pulling a few select items out in order to see everything.
"Well, this is lovely! Thank you, Patience" He exclaimed, really seeming to lighten up to a degree that he rarely reached in her presence. He looked quite grateful for the gifts and looking up, he contemplated her question. He watched King for a brief moment, wondering if it was wise to pet the creature or not, but for now simply smiled to it. "Perhaps. It is an interesting concept to consider. I've never been around a proper animal and able to observe them during my transformations, so I'm not certain."
