There was no denying the tug within Dora's heart at those words, and the way they sounded like a promise. "Good," she said softly, after a moment of silence. Leaning up, she brushed her lips over his, pressing her eyes shut for just a moment before she pulled back to look at him. "I'll do whatever I can to keep you safe, you know. Anything. And I won't let you go stir crazy... We'll figure out how to fix it, how to stop it... together. And-"
She paused, and then attempted a faint smile. "If you want to see Patience, you should. I won't stop you... but we need to be careful, yeah? What if-" She hesitated for a moment, considering an idea. "What if I go with you, in disguise, just to keep a watch, just in case? I could transform into... a bird or something?"
