"All right, then I shall be by around 7 with dinner." That was that. All things decided. And then perhaps by then, she would figure some things out. At the very least, hopefully she could figure out how to probe into him a bit more without setting off alarm bells. You never could be too careful. But she liked to think they were friends.
As a friend, she owed it to him to help. She laughed a little, "I suppose they will be a bit surprised that we actually went and did something friendly. I'd like that." No one would ask her either though, she knew that. Finally she stood up to her feet. "Well I should get going, so that I can actually eat lunch. I almost forgot, and I'm starving."
