Ella would have found this impromptu exchange rather confusing had she not spent the last few minutes making herself at home in the redhead's mind. She didn't have any more of a plan that Terrence did, even less so considering it had been her idea to come here in the first place. She'd not had a plan when she'd gone to see Fletcher, nor had she had one when she'd laid the false trail. All she was expecting was something a little different than what she'd been doing for four years, something she could control.
And so she stepped forward out of the shadows, casting a Lumos with her wand. "You mean to tell me that we've been doing business with Weasley this whole time?" she laughed, almost insanely. "That's brilliant! Brilliant work, T, really," she grinned wickedly, "And, for the record, if you had bought that explosive, I'd recommend getting your money back. I've never seen one before, and I'm even still in one piece." Who knew their little side business would make for such an interesting turn of events.
"To answer your question, Weasley, we haven't been tracking you. The Ministry did crack your journal--good on you, planting a fake safe house, by the way. Also, I'd stop reaching for that thing by your side. I don't know what it is, but you do and you're thinking about it right now, which is enough for me. I can easily turn it on you, so why don't you just step into the light and we'll talk." To prove her point, she planted a single thought: Jump once. She wasn't planning on attacking the bloke, not tonight, in any case. But they couldn't have their fun if the redhead decided to attack, anyway.
