They were good, then. Terrence couldn't have cared less if people enjoyed looking at him, or thinking about him that way, so long as they didn't try to make it a reality. That was when they would have problems. It didn't matter whether it was someone he would have been interested in without Ella in the picture.
But he was probably too touchy about that, anyway. No, he definitely was. Terrence was an easygoing, laidback person who rarely held on to grudges and liked being difficult to provoke, but he had a few hot spots that he liked other people - smart people - to stay away from.
Now that the air was clear on that, though, the look in his eyes disappeared and he gave an easy chuckle.
"You know, I think we just might have a deal," he said. If Ella's use of Fletcher over the weekend was any indication, the man was a wealth of information. The difference here was that Terrence wasn't going to force it out of him, but sharing trade secrets certainly wasn't something he'd object to. "Archery, fighting, and sharing information - maybe we'll throw a couple drinks in there just to round it off, even."
He grinned and got to his feet. "I should get back to work so I'm not here all night, but we'll have our fun. And let me know how it goes with charming those things to sting people, yeah?" He gestured to the paper insect Fletcher was still holding, referencing the thing that had started the conversation in the first place.
