Terrence wasn't sure how he felt about being a source of amusement, even if it was only a small amount; it wasn't as though Fletcher had actually laughed at him. But since he already knew this man enjoyed messing with people's heads, he resolved that surprising him this once was as far as Terrence would allow himself to be toyed with.
None of this showed on his face. It was a very brief thought, not long enough to change his expression, before his grin widened again at the prospect of trying their archery idea sometime soon. He was absolutely, positively in favor of that plan.
"Of course, I did a bit of reading, too," he said with a laugh. "Though I'll admit I'm not the type to do it first. Looked at a couple good pictures, gave it a shot - pun not intended, but rather brilliant, yeah? - and then did some reading while I was making adjustments and improvements, just to be sure."
He grinned. "Anything - or anyone - in particular you'd like to use your arrows on?"
