Who: Millicent and Bayleigh What: a tour of Azkaban. (How cheerful.) When: Wednesday morning. Where: Azkaban, and the surrounding island. Warnings: violence seems very likely. Status: Incomplete
Normally, Millicent wouldn't have made any special effort to greet a visitor. Most people who came to Azkaban to see her were Death Eaters, whose presence would have been easily accepted by the other guards and Dementors. Bayleigh wasn't a Death Eater, though, and that was why Millicent was standing outside on the island to meet her boat. It probably would have been fine, considering who Bayleigh's father was, but Millicent didn't entirely understand where Bayleigh stood in the political hierarchy, so she wasn't taking any chances.
Azkaban was gorgeous this morning, surrounded by a cool fog that lent a wonderful backdrop to the stone prison and the ocean lapping at the rocky island beneath, so she didn't mind the wait at all. The boat had already gone back and forth a few times, delivering guards and new prisoners to the shore, and taking the night guards home. Millicent watched it navigate the rocks until it disappeared into the mist. Next time, she hoped, it would return with Bayleigh on board.
