Blaise had left his head, but he had come much closer, was leaning over him. Theodore looked up at him, expression open and unguarded but not particularly showing much of anything. Except interest, but that wasn't really an emotion.
"You've been in my head," he said, eyes watching Blaise's face, noticing the way his gaze moved. "If you don't trust what you saw, why did you try?"
The answer was yes, of course, a yes on the tip of his tongue. But he knew Blaise had seen the other option, knew that Blaise could be tricky and liked to play games. He couldn't tell why he was asking, or whether he was just trying to tease Theodore before letting him down.
He had fully intended to just respond with another question, and let Blaise make the next move, but his hand lifted, curling in Blaise's shirt. He didn't tug him any closer, though, just let his hand stay there, knuckles pressing against Blaise's chest. He was warm, and yes, Theodore wanted. But he still wasn't saying it aloud.
