Can she hear me? Blaise snorted and chuckled, shaking his head with amusement. That was pretty funny, but if you didn't know what it was...well, he'd asked weird questions when he first saw one, too. Even though he watched a movie on a giant screen which was even worse.
"No. They're, uh, in a room somewhere else. Most of it was done earlier, sometimes months ago." Blaise hit a button and the channel changed, going to a comedy/drama show of teenagers. They weren't looking at the screen, but interacting with each other.
"This is a television show. You just watch, for entertainment." Maybe it wasn't that good - part of him cared about what others thought and if Theodore thought it was some stupid muggle contraption, well, he'd feel silly.
"There are movies, too, which can last for hours." Blaise handed the remote to Theodore so he could try if he wanted and he opened up a cabinet door next to the TV. There was only a row of DVD cases as he didn't have many. "You put the disc in another box and it plays on the television." Names wouldn't be helpful. DVDs, DVD player? They were all boxes that did things.
