Theodore smiled at Blaise in greeting, then stepped inside and looked around, taking the whole place in. It was very different from the austere, minimalist decor of his own house, which he also liked - preferred, really, for his own place. In fact, it was nearly the complete opposite, though not quite. The opposite would probably be flashy in a tasteless, gaudy way, and that wasn't Blaise's style.
"Nice," he said, wandering into the foyer and glancing curiously into the rooms. They were different, but all blended together to give one impression of the house overall.
There was only one thing out of place, that he'd never seen before. He stared at it for a moment, confused; it looked like a giant, empty portrait frame, but not quite. "What's that?" he asked, not bothering to point when he was fairly sure Blaise was following his gaze.
