Fred moved to take a seat in his chair and rested one ankle on the other knee. "Why are you staying at the Leaky?" he asked curiously, "Even if the Burrow wasn't an option for you, there's still George and me and Bill, you know." He gave his brother a half-smile and leaned forward. "I suppose as as long as the witch or the booze was worth it," he shrugged. He'd never really been the wild party boy type, was perfectly happy being in a healthier-than-most relationship with Katie. Well, as healthy as it could be while she was under the influence and he wasn't. But he wasn't one to judge, either, so if that was what Charlie wanted to do, by all means, he was allowed to do it.
"So, I'm guessing you had an ulterior motive in wanting to see me," he said honestly, without accusation. He knew all of them enjoyed being in one another's presence, except maybe Percy, but he could feel Charlie's tone in the journal entry. It didn't bother him, but he liked being direct when necessary.
