Bill stood up slowly, reminding himself to count down from ten. His temper, like many things he kept under strict control. He was perhaps keeping his emotions in check too often. Even with restraints, however, he could feel a slight flush on his cheeks and more emotion than he had recently. Had he really not been feeling anything much? Everything was tinged with that slightly foreign feeling. Like he'd been unable to feel everything quite as much as he would.
