Terrence saw her moving towards him out of the corner of his eye. After refilling his drink, he turned toward her, reaching out to close his hand around her tie, thumb running over the cloth. His eyes weren't on the tie, though; he was looking at her, the way he did when everything else but her had faded around them. Which was often, but it helped that he'd been thinking about her in various states of undress for the better part of two hours.
"You are so on," he said, though he was very tempted to sweep everything on the refreshment table out of the way and have her right there, instead of going all the way to the study. Their drinking game had already been testing his willpower, which was extremely limited where she was concerned.
