Being on the run as she'd been for the last couple years wasn't exactly conducive to forming relationships. So yes, while she'd kissed a few guys (even one girl), and had a few shags (which were satisfactory, she supposed, in their own way) over the years, it hadn't been like this. None of those people had really known her, nor she them. They were just people who had passed in and out of her lives as quickly as she'd moved through theirs. They were brief, fleeting... mostly meaningless, though she didn't regret them at all.
This, however, was different. And perhaps that was why it was so much better. She knew Kevin, even if she hadn't seen him for the last few years, he was still much the same guy she'd once been friends with. Not only that, but she liked him, and not just for his looks; he was smart and he could keep up with her, and he made her laugh.
And kissing him was good. Even if he didn't taste like naan, he tasted like him. And his body was warm beneath hers, and his hands felt perfect the way they were cupping her face, and she definitely didn't want this to stop. So she parted her lips against his, deepening the kiss a bit as he hand slid up his chest so that she could cup the side of his face, letting her thumb brush up his over the line of his jaw.
