"Yes, exactly," Chastity replied with a faint smile. "I like that it's ghostly, though. That it's almost eerie in the way it just silently moves over the ground." Maybe because she had some sort of kindred connection to that, she wasn't sure.
She ignored the blanket for now... she wasn't quite cold enough yet. But she did reach for the cup of hot chocolate fudge. Instead of drinking it though, she held it cupped in her hands, inhaling the familiar smell. For a second, her brow furrowed. It reminded her of their mother... but more than that, it reminded her of their younger brother. She let out a deep sigh without realizing it. And then, as if in explanation, she murmured, "Aldous loved this when Mother used to make it."
