"I suppose, though you don't need any more burdens," he commented, brushing a strand of her hair out of her face. He honestly felt that she got the worse end of the deal when it came to how things were going. She was the one who had to keep up appearances most days. He was confined to one specific space, but he didn't have to pretend he was fine. He didn't mind carrying more burden then her. He took in a breath.
"Remember when I told you...about the woman I bit?" He said quietly. He had only told her bits of the story, when he was at his most vulnerable, on their night of reunion.
