Kevin was looking forward to this day. It would, he hoped, be a very good one for Dean, but at the very least, he was going to enjoy himself while they were catching up. He wasn't worried about entertaining himself, he had been very good at that for years, long before he became a refugee from the wizarding world. And right now, he was at the beach.
The beach, which wasn't terribly busy considering it was Brighton Beach, but still had a decent amount of people out. The beach, which was a place he hadn't been in a while. It was close to winter, but the weather was decent, and right now, Kevin really didn't care.
He set his towel and bag down, not worrying too much about the contents, since he'd left his wand in the car. Today he was all Muggle, which was the safest way to be. He'd already put on sunblock that morning, which he would probably have to do again, but right now all he needed to get into the water was to strip off his shirt and make a run for it.
He dodged between blankets, whooping with glee and doing his best not to make sand fly in anyone's faces or food, and dived right into the water.
Fuck, it was cold. He came up shivering, running a hand through his magically lightened hair (which now looked a bit darker, since it was wet) and spluttering. "Holy mother of god, I guess that's why there's no one else in yet," he said aloud, wading back out to where the water was just lapping at his feet.
