"I'll get you next time," Kevin managed to get out in a fit of breathless laughter as he caught up, resting with his hands on his knees to get his wind back. There was a reason why he'd never done any competitive sports. Or maybe there was a reason he should have done just that, so he would actually be in good shape right now.
His laughter had subsided by the time he realized that Dean had spotted Seamus. He straightened to follow Dean's gaze, and patted his bag to make sure it was all intact after the race before moving over with Dean, but staying a few feet behind.
This wasn't his reunion, but he was here, at least long enough to make sure he wasn't needed. He offered Seamus - who also looked vaguely familiar, the way Dean had - a friendly grin and a little, slightly nerdy salute from a little ways back, and let them greet each other.
