"Was there a different time when you gave group hugs?" Kevin asked curiously. He had already discovered that Dean's school experience had been extremely different from his own, and was rather fascinated to discover other similarities or differences. "Like before Quidditch matches? I've seen teams do that before. Well, it's more like a huddle circle than a hug, so I'm not sure if that counts or not."
He navigated the rest of the way to the beach and successfully found parking, almost too easily for such a popular beach. "I think this is a good sign - luck is on our side!" he said to Dean with a grin. "And tourists don't really pay attention to accents when they come to touristy places like this, do they? I mean, there's so much else to see, what's interesting about a couple of blokes our age wandering around. Unless they can sense our awesome from a distance, I suppose, but that wouldn't be a bad kind of attention."
Unbuckling, he got out of the car. He'd come as Alexander Smoot today - at least, in terms of his looks, with the lighter blonde-ish hair and more grey than blue eyes - and Alexander Smoot was wearing his swim trunks. Though of course, he would be sticking around long enough to give Dean any moral support he needed until, or unless, he wanted to be alone with Seamus. Then Kevin would be perfectly happy occupying himself either with the ocean or with the books he was carrying in his bag (along with enough towels for the three of them, just in case, and sunscreen) for however long he needed to do so.
