Oliver was flattered by that attention by fans, but it was getting the point where he was trying to keep his head in his job... not the popularity. He hadn't joined quidditch to be famous, he'd joined in order to play the game. Being on the Hogwarts' house team had nothing but good for him, not only as a keeper but as a person. He knew that people cared deeply about the game, just as deeply as Oliver himself did. But at the end of the day, a player was only worth caring about if he was good. And becoming a play boy would only hurt him. And his friends, to be honest.
