In the moments before he'd entered the bar, and as he walked in, even as he was sitting down and waiting for his drink, Kevin was sinking further and further into Alec's skin. It had gotten frighteningly easy, bringing the characters in his vivid imagination come to life, and he knew as soon as he was approached by this woman that he'd done it successfully. Goofy, nerdy Kevin never would have attracted the interest of this type - but tonight, he was Alec.
And he had a feeling that if this went well, he might consider really trying to become Alec more often. But Alec quickly shut up Kevin's inner dialogue, taking over as the situation called for it.
He had just gotten his drink, and he lifted it to his lips to take a sip, taking in the sight of his new company over the rim of the glass. When he set it down, he was smiling, blue-grey eyes lit with interest. "I have only been in England for a few days," he said, with his faint accent. "My name is Alec."
