Dean wiped his eyes on the back of his uninjured hand, cursing himself silently. He'd made Seamus upset. He'd made him mourn. It made his chest hurt. He couldn't make heads or tails of it. He'd always been close to Seamus but he'd never felt so emotional. He was going to kill anyone that tried to keep him from staying alive until he got back to Seamus. Absolutely kill them.
He took a seat under a tree, knowing this was the worst time to be doing this, but he was weak and he needed to eat something to calm the shaking in his body. He took a few bites of food...if you could really call it that. It just looked like some weirdly colored mass that had been squished together. His mother had taken to leaving food around at random places. Always the same ones...but never the same one twice in a row. Sometimes, to avoid people she had to pick a new place, but she always left some sort of notice to let him know.
He slumped over for a moment, biting down on his lip hard. The taste of iron made him stop. Seamus couldn't see him like this. Not that he would. Everyone was acting weird. Why? He didn't understand. It didn't make sense! He just wanted to go home...but he couldn't go home. Even his mother wasn't home. His family had moved somewhere to stay safe. He missed them. He missed Seamus. Fuck. He missed everything.
