Listening with keen interest, the wheels were already turning in her head. "That sounds fine. We’ll need to use caution, though. I’ve a feeling Crouch won’t take kindly to being deliberately led astray." She paused, considering their limited options. "Harry, do you think you can distract him for as long as possible? I’m certain they’ve already begun to find a way to track your journal. The question is, would it be possible to create the illusion of an alternative location – and that way, we won’t have to tell him where to go, but inadvertently lead him in the wrong direction."
Was it even possible? It would require new, and altogether complicated charms-work, the likes of which Hermione never had to use before. Essentially, she believed this to be a task of merging the theories of magic to suit their needs. It was daunting, and her eyes glinted with the challenge.
Then, replying to Ron matter-of-factly; "As for the journals, we won’t need another. I’ve already taken the liberty of conducting research with mine. It’s how I knew the spell to ward Harry’s entry in the first place." She took a breath before ordering the two around, as usual.
"Harry. I’m going to need you to stall for time - keep Crouch busy, and be sure to inform us of your conversations. Ron, there are a few minor ingredients that we still need, and if you can, I’d like for you to see to finding them. I’ll work on the charm that will hopefully alter our supposed location."
